The Challenge We Faced:

The client’s Google Ads campaign structure was too clumsy. They utilized the basic guided setup, resulting in campaigns that were optimized to increase ad spend with broad location, keyword, and audience targeting. However, proper conversion tracking was not implemented, and the landing pages were not optimized for conversions. Only the old expanded text ads were used, with no responsive search ads or ad extensions utilized.

What We Have Done:

We (@whiteDigital) analyzed the existing campaign structure and data. Based on the findings, we fixed the conversion tracking and conducted keyword research to find relevant keywords. We organized them into narrow theme-based ad groups. Additionally, we prepared new responsive search ads and ad extensions and updated the landing page with proper calls to action. We launched new campaigns with a more targeted structure. Once we got enough conversion data, we tested the conversion-focused bid strategy. We utilized account-level negative keywords and regularly analyzed search terms to find more negative keywords and identify new keywords based on trends.
