Search Console and Analytic integrated report

Earlier this week, Google sent out emails and messages on the search console to the website owners informing them that Google will process a Beta test in combining both Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

Before we leap in, let us have a glimpse at what Google Console is, and who can gain benefits out of it.

Google Search Console

Google search console is a tool offered by Google for free of cost to monitor and maintain your site presence on the search engine result page (SERP). This tool also helps in fixing indexing issues, amp and much more. It also notifies you if there is a threat to your website.

There is no special restriction for one to use the Google search console tool leaving a message that anyone with a website can use it.

Now coming back to the email notice given by Google,

Google has clearly mentioned that this trial of integration will help in exporting data from Google Analytics to the Search console.

This is just a trial in bringing Analytics data into the search console which means it is just the search console that gets involved. It is also mentioned that the owners will be notified when the beta version becomes available.

Google has also given leverage for the owners to opt out of linking both the search console and Google Analytics.

There is also an option to manage the properties which are subjected to be linked together.

What is the use of combining both Google Search Console and Google Analytics?

When both reports are combined together, it is easy to view the report in one go rather than following each of them separately. In simple words, the report becomes more convenient to be viewed.

You might have already known that Google Analytics gives you the report on what happens inside the website and Google Console gives the report on what happens to your website on the SERP. So when these two reports get combined it reduces the time you spend on checking both reports separately.

Google has also mentioned that they will make the beta experience available in the upcoming weeks, so for now, there is nothing much to convey on this update of the new integrated report which is under beta testing.

Coming to an end, Google keeps updating everything to simplify the job of its users making it easy to access and monitor sites effectively.
